Now Open | LANT Danala in Darwin City

We’re excited to announce that Library & Archives NT (LANT) has relocated from Parliament House to a dynamic new space at Danala, the Charles Darwin University (CDU) Education and Community Precinct in the heart of Darwin city.
This state-of-the-art facility features a range of purpose-built areas designed to inspire and engage, including:
- a children's library
- spaces for learning and events
- a gallery to present temporary exhibitions
- an oral history recording studio
- a reading room for accessing collections.
The new space will also be home to Meeting Ground: Territory Encounters, a long-term exhibition that explores the diverse people, places, and histories that have shaped the Northern Territory.
Now on in the gallery, we're proud to present Wangka Walytja an Artback NT touring exhibition celebrating the rich legacy of the Papunya Literature Production Centre. The exhibition runs until September 2025.
Whether you're looking to explore our collections, enjoy a temporary exhibition, or find a place to study, we invite you to visit us and experience everything the new location has to offer.
Opening hours:
10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We will also open from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays by mid-year.
Library & Archives NT's new location:
