Description

It's a Storytime Takeover at Library & Archives NT!

Join us as we celebrate disability, diversity and inclusion for International Day of People with Disability.

Featuring guest speaker City of Darwin Councillor CJ McCarthy-Grogan, a former professional wheelchair basketballer, this special storytime brings children and families together to learn about inclusion and celebrate the differences that make our Top End community so special.

We’ll be reading Go Home Cheeky Animals, illustrated by acclaimed Northern Territory artist Dion Beasley, who lives with hearing impairment and muscular dystrophy. Then we'll join in some fun sing-alongs before getting creative with colouring and sensory craft activities.

This is a free event, but bookings are encouraged to help us plan for the session. We look forward to welcoming you and your little ones for this special celebration.
