Description

Following the tragic suicide of their young daughter Dolly in 2018, Kate along with her husband Tick Everett founded Dolly’s Dream.

Dolly’s Dream aims to raise awareness of the devastating effects bullying has on children and families.

Focussing on regional areas, the campaign delivers community education, fundraisers and provides mental health support for children and families via Dolly’s Dream Support line.

Since founding Dolly’s Dream, Kate and Tick have received the 2019 Australian Local Hero Award for their tireless campaigning.

Their efforts have also been recognised by the Prime Minister and Health Ministers across the country.

Join Kate Everett as part of the monthly Women’s Leadership Network events and be inspired by her story and non-stop advocacy in promoting behavioural change against bullying behaviour.

Bookings essential via Eventbrite

This event is being presented by the Women’s Leadership Network, NT and hosted by Library & Archives NT.
