Description

Join us for this year’s Annual History Colloquium. Coordinated by the Professional Historian’s Association (NT) in partnership with Charles Darwin UniversityThe Australian National University and Library & Archives NT the Colloquium is an opportunity to hear historical research from emerging and established researchers. This year’s diverse program includes presentations on: the early medical ‘protectors’ of Aboriginal people; a secret visitor to the 1954 Japanese pearling fleet; nuclear colonialism and Aboriginal anti-nuclear protest; a historical archaeology of the buffalo shooting industry; the Hawke legend; the tenacious Dr Cecil Cook; abortion law reform in the Territory and more!!
