Description

2018 Northern Territory Artist in Residence Cj Fraser-Bell is on the lookout for LGBTQI+ stories, photos and memories about Darwin and the Northern Territory as part of her artistic research. Cj is creating visual art works, collage and commentary whilst compiling Zines on the theme of ‘Queer Territory’ - and would love to meet with anyone with stories to share.
From fun nights at the Railcar Bar to difficulty accessing health services, Cj wants to hear from you and see your photos, articles, diary entries and more!

Cj is a Queer visual artist, writer and theatre maker, born in Darwin 28 years ago. Through her residency in the Northern Territory Library she is working to investigate and add to the Queer Collection, and artistically respond to the existing collections in the Library with a “Queer Eye”.

You can email Cj to arrange a meet-up, drop into the Northern Territory Library Tuesday to Thursday and catch her while she’s in residence (bring any materials you might have to show them!) or email things through directly.

Any privacy concerns will be strictly honoured.
