Description

Join 2018 Northern Territory Library creative in residence Cj Fraser-Bell for a series of facilitated Zine making sessions. Zines are a fun and immediate creative outlet, and they can be as simple or complex as you make them!

Each week Cj will prepare a unique selection of materials drawing from the Library collections to help your zine making efforts, or you can bring along your own ideas. Free printing (zine making gold!).

What is a zine? According to Wikipedia, “A zine is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via photocopier. Zines are either the product of a single person, or of a very small group and are popularly photocopied into physical prints for circulation. A fanzine is a non-professional and non-official publication produced by enthusiasts of a particular cultural phenomenon for the pleasure of others who share their interest.”
