The Professional Historians Association (NT) presents Hot Histories: History Talks & PHA National Conference 2025. Visit Library & Archives NT (Darwin City) for two dynamic days of papers and presentations exploring passion projects, controversial topics, stories from the steamy north, love in the archives, and professional challenges that raise the temperature.

This weekend long event celebrates the breadth of work undertaken by professional historians, from heritage and oral history projects to exhibitions, documentaries, walking tours, websites, teaching, and beyond. 

Expect a thought-provoking program, engaging speakers, and the invaluable opportunity to connect with fellow history enthusiasts and professionals in Darwin. Open to historians, students, and anyone with a love of history, everyone’s invited to dive into a weekend of big ideas, bold stories, and fascinating conversations.
