Join us on Wednesday 11 March for the launch of Ayaiga: Neighbour and Hero with author Thomas Higgs.

Discover the remarkable true story of Ayaiga, an Alawa man whose extraordinary act of courage more than 120 years ago earned him national recognition for bravery. This moving account, beautifully illustrated by Wägilak man and Ngukurr Arts artist Wally Wilfred and complemented by historical photographs, reveals a significant chapter of Northern Territory and First Nations history.
