Library & Archives NT are pleased to announce that this year's Northern Territory Literary Awards Ceremony will be going ahead. The annual Northern Territory Literary Awards have celebrated the work of Northern Territory's established and emerging writers for more than 35 years.
The Literary Awards acknowledge works of outstanding literary merit and reward the achievements of Northern Territory writers across seven categories including: Theatre, Non Fiction, Essay, Flash Fiction, Poetry, Youth and Short Story.
Special thanks goes to the Awards’ sponsors and supporters; Charles Darwin University, NT Writers’ Centre, Zip Print, Brown’s Mart Theatre and Kath Manzie Estate.
This year you can:
1. Attend the ceremony in person at our Library & Archives NT location at Parliament House, Darwin.
2. Attend the livestream in person at Witchetty’s function room at the Araluen Centre in Alice Springs
3. Or watch the livestream at home via Facebook.
Everyone is invited to attend the ceremony in person or online via our livestream on Facebook. Please stay tuned for the live streaming link which will be added closer to the date on our Facebook event page.

The Awards Ceremony Live Stream event will commence at 5:30pm ACST from our Parliament House location. COVID 19 protocols and social distancing measures are in place at both Parliament House and at Witchetty’s, Araluen Arts Centre. Places are limited at both venues and bookings are essential.
